Best Shot Monday - Pool Time!

Summer is in full swing, which means (among other things) some serious pool time! I might have a snowballs chance in hell of tanning not become a bronze beauty, but with SPF 50 some sunscreen even I can enjoy some fun in the sun... Although don't worry, there aren't any pictures of that to be shared.

And so one of our many pool outings has provided me with my shots for BSM (I just couldn't pick a favorite):

The sun is not my friend either- I have alabaster skin, and the only other color I turn is red!
Love these shots- the color, the crystal clear water, and the tanned shoulders of his sweet self. These REALLY capture summer so well!

I love the "texture" in this second photo... The goddess said it best -- refreshing. Your tanning experience sounds much like mine!

Thank you for that nice stumble.

Love that last one, what a cutie pie! Yes, I will not be posting bathing suit pictures this particular summer as well;)

btw -- I love your Buddha quote, so true.

How I wish we had a pool in this Texas heat! And I'm freaky crazy about the sunscreen these days. My daughter has this gorgeous tan and she's only 2 (and I do put the sunscreen on her) yet I'm still a pale whale.

;)

Sweet, fun shots!

Great to see your youngest has not inherited your Celtic skin. I am reaping the 'rewards' of a youth in the sun nowadays. :-( No sunscreen in my youth you realise!? But do you think you can warn the kids today? No. They are invunerable and will NEVER get skin cancer......
Anyhoo, enjoy your sun time..
