Something's missing...

Yesterday it was raining, and the kids were desperate to leave the house. So we went to the mall - lots of space, a free play area, shopping and a carosel and train - what could be better?

What could be better was if the carosel and train were actually there. Apparently in the time since we had been to the mall last (which admittedly has been a month or so) they have removed the carosel. Not just stopped running it, but actually taken the entire thing out. Now there is just a big hole where it used to be. Try explaining that to a two year old...

There is a sign saying that a new one is coming, but I'm going to have to make sure before we take another trip to the mall...and I'm slightly skeptical anyway. The sign said something about a Euro double decker carosel, and I have no idea what that means. But I do know that we have enough trouble with just one level of a carosel, so we most certainly don't need two! But we'll see how it goes...
