First, Happy Earth Day!
Why yes, that is Garrett. Kissing a tree. Clearly he is very earth centered. Or maybe just weird...you can decide that on your own.
And now for the inquiries!
So I have questions. And because you all are so cool, I'm sure that you have answers. Or at least I sure hope so...
First: Movies
I have Blockbuster Total Access, which I love. But I would love to know what 'must see' movies there are that I haven't seen yet. So tell me all your favorites...because I'm sure I haven't seen them yet!
Second: Blogs
At the moment I use blogger, but I keep debating about making a switch. So, what are your thoughts?
Third: Books
I am always on the lookout for great reads...so let me know what you're reading!

I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love and I must say I am really, really digging it.
Movies: If you haven's seen JUNO, put it on your list (it just came out on DVD) by far the best movie in a long time. I don't know if it is out on DVD yet - but we just saw Run Fat Boy Run (the one that was produced by David Schwimmer) and it is really good, too!
I like There Will Be Blood, however it is a definite dark movie - and I liked it better in the theater.
We have been doing NetFlix like crazy, so I'll pass some good ones along as we watch them, too!
YOu know, we have Netflix and I am so bad about watching movies. I think I've had the same movies for three months. I need to cancel it, but there are so many movies I want to see! It is just hard for me to sit down and watch them now.
I like Wordpress, which is what I use. I don't have any experience with another blogging platform, so I dont' know how much my opinion is worth. :/
Hey friend,
I just read Belong to Me when M was in the hospital. It's not my favorite book ever, but it's definitely worth reading. I also just finished Sea Glass by Anita Shreve (she wrote The Pilot's Wife), which was a good historical fiction, if that's your thing.
I love Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns.
I'm going to think about some of my other favorite books. I'll let you know.
Movies? No idea. I watch the same ones over and over again. We just saw Michael Clayton--it was long and boring. I love, love, love the Bourne movies.
I use Blogger. No idea about the others.
ROFL at Garrett!
Movies, I second the vote for Juno! We bought it the day after it came out, and we almost never buy movies!
books, the last one I read was A Thousand Splendid Suns and I greatly enjoyed it. Jodi Picoult's books are my favorites - but I know you share that love!
Blogging platform, obviously I'm on Blogger and I don't love it, but have decided it's not worh the hassle to switch right now.
Hi!
Books: Re-reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman which is the origins of Arizaphale. (the character is actually called Aziraphale but I have obviously been dyslexic all these years). This book cracks me up. It is a very clever philosophical dig at religion, the nature of good and evil and nature vs nurture with a bit of Hollywood send-up thrown in. Read only if you enjoy also enjoy Douglas Adams and possibly Monty Python....
Movies: The most recent I've seen were The Other Boleyn Girl (OK...fine) and Sweeney Todd (brilliant but disturbing). Have many must sees on my list from the past though.....hoe far back do you want to go?
Blogging: Only ever used Blogger and would also be interested in what the others 'offer'.
Good questions!!
Movies We've Recently Seen:
Michael Clayton - intriguing
Reservation Road - Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Ruffalo - two of my faves - it was good but SAD.
Juno - great, good commentary too
Atonement - beautifully made; I didn't love it but I can't stop thinking about it
Blogging: I made the switch to wordpress last December and I LOVE it.
Can't help with the books. I don't read these days, plain & simple.
I'm not really up on my movies... but I do like Wordpress - though I never have tried anything different and can't compare it. As for books, I am currently reading the Stephanie Plum series of books written by Janet Evanovich... Very entertaining.
