I will be the first to admit that there is something wrong with me I am somewhat unique in that I actually like snow. I think that it is beautiful and peaceful and calming. And when you're outside and it's snowing? There isn't a quieter time - ever.
So this week's theme is winter....and what symbolizes winter better (at least to those of us in colder climates) than snow? Especially since it snowed all night, and there is currently a beautiful, fresh blanket of snow to look at.

I'm actually okay with snow too, just not the cold that comes with it! And I hate driving in traffic in it as well!
even tho snow is not my fave, i love watching kids play in it -- so cute!
I love their little red noses and cheeks! I love snow too. I used to live in the Snowy Mountains in NSW (did I say that before??) and we skied under lights at night. Ahhhh good times.

Don't get me wrong, I love the snow for all the reasons you mentioned. That's why it's fun to visit... But Walking to school in it every day was not my cup of tea. I still have sensitive fingertips from a near frost bite experience in high school.
I also have vivid memories of a beautiful winter morning after being snowed in in Wyoming (literally!) on a trip home to South Dakota from California. A cherry red barn nestled in a white winter wonderland. It was a living postcard. And oh, the quiet of "frozen" air. Love it.

Those are nice face shots! I like snow, too. I think sometimes it makes the cold easier cuz you have something else fun to think about.
