The Itty Bitty

Several of you have asked who the teeny tiny little ones are.

And many of you guessed correctly, they are from work. One of the things that we provide for parents who lose their babies, along with prints and molds, is photos. And that has become one of my unofficial tasks. And that is where these have come from. All of these families hopes, remembered as teeny, tiny little feet.

beautiful! if you are not already part of NILMDTS... you would be a great asset to the group of photographers.

On day I hope to be a good enough photographer to provide that service to our hospital. I don't know if it's because we've lost two babies (miscarriges), but I have such a huge heart for families that have lost their babies. I want to honor the life, no matter how brief, in some way.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful job Maggie and such a great service you are giving to these families. I'm sure it is a hard thing to do, but I can imagine the families are so grateful to have your photos of their precious little babies.

I have looked at the NILMDTS group and there is just no way I could do it. I'm way too emotional on a good day and I would be crying the whole time I took pictures.

It really takes a special person to do the things that you do. I greatly admire people in your profession. I know the family will cherish these photos forever.

Oh Maggie, my heart just sunk after reading that. You are an ANGEL for doing that. I've been wanting to join our local area's photographer group that volunteers to do that, but I don't think I'm strong enough.

That is beautiful, Maggie! So bearthbreakingly beautiful and sad. You are amazing to do that. I have thought about NILMDTS but I really don't think I could do it. I have an online friend who recently long her baby (due to HUGE medical errors) and it's been on my mind so much these last few days.

Wow Maggie. These are beautiful and very, very heartbreaking. We saw so many tiny feet like that when Cole was in the NICU...Amazing gift you provide for those parents...

What a gift for those parents!!! Keep doing truly is such a treasure to them! We have friends who lost their baby and the nurses had done this. They were sooo thankful.
