Theme Thursday - Summer Fun

This week's theme is Summer Fun....and what could be more fun during the hottest part of the summer than a dip in the pool?

**A quick note that I will be out of town until the middle of next week(camping. in Minnesota. with toddlers. Best Shot Monday - Pool Time!

Summer is in full swing, which means (among other things) some serious pool time! I might have a snowballs chance in hell of tanning not become a bronze beauty, but with SPF 50 some sunscreen even I can enjoy some fun in the sun... Although don't worry, there aren't any pictures of that to be shared.

And so one of our many pool outings has provided me with my shots for BSM (I just couldn't pick a favorite):

Best Shot Monday - City of Fountains

Kansas City is known as the City of Fountains - it is said that there are more fountains here than in any other city in the world.

I'm not sure if there are more fountains, but we sure do have some that are a lot of fun! This is the fountain at Crown Center - they are perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day!

And playing in fountains wasn't just for the little kids. I just might have gotten soaked myself. And was the only one without a change of clothes. And it was totally worth it.
