I am ELATED to say that I have a new toy. Or, if you prefer, a new pride a joy.
I got a Digital SLR!
I loves me some picture taking, but I had NO IDEA what I was missing out on. Seriously. My point and shoot is great, but it is not even comparable to this baby.
And so for my best shots this week, I present my experiments with my new toy, although I am not sure if I like the color of the black and white better...

You're going to be sorry-that camera will take over your life! I got the step between the point and shoot and the DSLR, and it is a serious addiction! Have fun learning about it-those Nikons are great (I teach a digital photo class for adults.) Beautiful pictures!
